Get motivated with a summer sporting challenge
Even with the help of one of our personal trainers, everyone struggles to stay on top of their workout plan at some point. Many people find that exercising with friends can improve their commitment, while others hate the idea of sharing their training schedule with somebody else. It can be particularly tricky in winter, as dark nights and cold weather make it harder to get off the sofa after a long day at work.
Spring is a season of renewal; longer days lift our mood and boost motivation. It’s also a great time to take a look at your existing exercise goals and identify where you can push yourself just a little bit harder. Nothing focuses the mind like an upcoming challenge so we’ve put together a list of some of the events coming up in Yorkshire this summer.
Open to people of all ages and abilities, there’s no better excuse for combining an energising workout with friends and family whilst raising funds for worthy causes.
Xercise Fitness Haxby is helping several gym members prepare for these events, why not join them and raise even more funds for worthy causes
